This Agreement for Membership with International Magnetics Organization is made effective this _______ of _________, 20__, by and between the International Magnetics Organization, and ______________________________ (“Member”). Upon the execution of this Agreement, the applicant shall become a member of International Magnetics Organization.
This Membership Agreement summarizes certain aspects of the activities and administration of International Magnetics Organization, and defines the terms and conditions related to status as a member of International Magnetics Organization.
As the global professional association for magnetics industry, International Magnetics Organization serves both academic and industrial interests, by studying and meeting the ever-changing needs of magnetic products manufacturers, end-users and researchers. The principles of International Magnetics Organization are promoting the cooperation among companies, research institutes and universities; studying the needs of current industry practice; channeling the flowing and sharing of information and knowledge; and providing the arena for industry professionals to tackle challenging industry issues, including environment protection & resource recycling, for future sustainable greener energy and improvement of human life.
Corporate members and academic members can host independent not-for-profit industry conferences, following the guidelines set by International Magnetics Organization. The hosting members solely take the responsibility for the administration of the conferences, logistically and financially. All International Magnetics Organization members can review the detailed minutes of meeting and comprehensive financial reports on the conferences, once they are published on www.magneitcs.org. International Magnetics Organization will act as the free web portal to publish the invitation, papers, and financial reports of the conference. International Magnetics Organization also provide free auditing service for the financial reports of the conferences it facilitates.
By publishing Magnetics Industry News Letters and conference papers, facilitating industry conferences, International Magnetics Organization helps industrial professionals stay updated with latest industry news, market trends, technology developments and applications. Global magnetics industry is highly fragmented and undergoing constant dramatic changes. As parts of the chain, all manufacturers worked closely with each other. Lack of information, technology or network will be a huge disaster. Researchers, engineers, managers and the corporations or institutes they work for, join International Magnetics Organization, build a global magnetics industry community to develop, refine and advance the theory and practice of magnetic technologies.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the mutual covenants and promises contained in this Agreement, the members agree as follows:

2. Conferences
Corporate members and academic members can host independent not-for-profit industry conferences, following the guidelines set by International Magnetics Organization. The conferences aim at exchanging magnetics industry information and advancing magnetics technology. The administration of the conferences are decentralized. Every member has equal rights and responsibilities. Published on www. magnetics.org, the conference invitation, provides detailed agendas, fee arrangements, projected expenditure(purchase of and payments for goods and services), and other relevant information.
All conference will operate independently from the activities of International Magnetics Organization. International Magnetics Organization will never be bonded with any conference financially. Neither will the International Magnetics Organization involved in the actual administration.
The hosting members solely take the responsibility for the administration of the conferences, logistically and financially, including collecting all relevant fees, organizing the meetings and discussions, and compiling the conference papers. The qualified host member must elect a managing committee to serve as the point of contact, to support the logistics and administration of the conference.
All International Magnetics Organization members can review the detailed minutes of meeting and comprehensive financial reports on the conferences, once they are published on www.magneitcs.org, within 120 days after the conferences. International Magnetics Organization will act as the free web portal to publish the invitation, papers, and financial reports of the conference, for free. International Magnetics Organization also provide free auditing service for the financial reports of the conferences it facilitates.
3. Publications
International Magnetics Organization publishes free online Magnetics Industry News Letter . The scope of Magnetics Industry News Letter will be limited to the research developments technical papers, industry news, market research, and education frontiers &industry application of magnetic materials, components, assemblies, and other magnetic products. All members can contribute to the News Letter.
International Magnetics Organization also publishes conference papers. All corporation members, academic members and individual members, are encouraged to contribute technical papers on relevant topics. Authors must agree to make their articles freely available under open online access, with no cost of readers. The hosting member must transmit all conference materials including the minutes of meeting, financial reports, and compiled papers to International Magnetics Organization and its members.
